CE Recognition Program

Guidelines For Requests For Continuing Education Credits

The Ontario Veterinary Medical Association is approached often by companies who wish to have their seminars recognized by OVMA's CE Recognition Program. The company can then include the number of CE credits approved by OVMA in their marketing materials for the event.

To process a request, OVMA's Continuing Education Committee will require the following:

A program agenda, including details of date, time, location and duration of presentation
Number of hours of CE credits requested
A current CV of the speaker(s)
A writted summary or abstract of the speaker(s) presentation

Sponsor(s) must be clearly identified, and an estimate of time devoted to the expression of commerical interests should be included.

A $150 CDN application fee must accompany each request for approval. Only one fee applies where the same seminar will be delivered in a number of locations. Please allow 4 weeks for approval.

To submit a request, please send the information set out above plus a cheque for $150 CDN, to:
