Full-Time – One Year Contract-Veterinary Clinic Receptionist.  Upper Grand Veterinary Services is looking to hire a Full-Time Large Animal Veterinary Clinic Receptionist who must be able to work 4 days a week with the possibility of other days as needed.  
We are a dynamic, service-oriented practice driven to provide compassionate care for production animals, our clients and the environment to produce safe, sustainable food for a growing world.  Located just north of Guelph, our clientele is primarily dairy but includes the vast spectrum from hobby farm to corporate agricultural businesses.

Provides human resource support, coaching, training and feedback to leadership teams and all employees.
Promotes an engaging place of business that places emphasis on outstanding client service and patient care.
Retains high performing individuals to ensure that Dundas West Animal Hospital has the talent to fuel expansion.
Ensures that effective change management processes are in place with regards to organizational initiatives, facilitating group discussions regarding change and ensures effective integration.
Equip, educate and engage new and existing team members through overseeing training procedures.
Develops and maintains hospital policies and procedures.
Oversees, builds and maintains business development initiatives resulting in revenue generation and the creation of new revenue streams.
Formal post-secondary education in business, animal science, marketing or other related program or equivalent education/experience. Veterinary practice experience is an asset but not a requirement.  
Strong leadership, change management skills, demonstrated ability to influence change.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and projects with initiative and resourcefulness.
Ability to work with people at all skill levels, highly collaborative and team-oriented.
Commitment to working in a client-centered environment responding with sensitivity to the diverse needs of our pet owners.
Creative problem-solving ability.
Good knowledge of relevant legislation with regards to CVO regulations, Employment Standards, Human Rights Code, Health and Safety and Accessibility.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and consist of an attractive base salary with additional bonus structure, full health benefits and a continuing education allowance.
