Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician: We are a busy mobile practice seeking an individual to join our team part-time. This is a unique opportunity to work one on one with a veterinarian in the comfort of the patients home and get to know the patients on a more personal level. We pride ourselves in providing excellent quality compassionate care for our clients and patients. The position involves customer service tasks such as client correspondence by phone/email and text, scheduling appointments, managing surgical referrals and inventory. Hands on patient care and restraint involves fear free restraint for vaccines and other procedures, or if a registered veterinary technician is successful then blood collection and catheterization is an option. Some in house lab work and sample preparation is also a routine part of the day.  No weekends required, hours typically range from 8am to 6pm.  Must be willing to drive to Granton for the work day (between St. Mary’s and Lucan).

King Hopkins Pet Hospital is looking for VT to join our growing Team! We are a multi-doctor clinic that sees cats, dogs, pocket pets, and exotics. Although we are a fast-paced 24 hour clinic that sees emergencies, we have a loyal client base that seeks us out for routine appointments as well (who doesn’t love a puppy or kitten vaccine appointment?!).
We are fully equipped with digital X-ray, cold laser, in house Idexx laboratory including SediVue and blood gas machines, dental x-ray, and ultrasound to aid our technicians in patient care.
RVT duties include:
Placing IV catheters
Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
Performing dental cleanings and radiographs
Collect blood and urine samples for analysis
Assist doctors with appointments
Amongst other assigned duties

Opportunity for a 5th full-time RVT to enjoy work in Northwestern Ontario's Sunset Country on beautiful Rainy Lake.  Fort Frances is a Canadian/U.S.A. Port of Entry and offers four season indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities. We are a busy, three doctor practice that has serviced the entire Rainy River District for over 40 years. In October 2017 we moved to our new  4800sq ft    C.V.O. approved facility located at  411 McIrvine Rd. Our clinic  provides an on-site Idexx Lab, Digital radiography (Regular & Dental), Laser surgery, Summus Platinum Therapy Laser, Ultrasound and Avimark computerized medical files.
A standard 40 hr. work week along with shared on-call rotations will be required.  
A compensation package for the on-call / emergency duties will be provided to the successful candidate. 
Applicant must hold a RVT license or be eligible to obtain one and have current Covid vaccine status.
