We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, compassionate RVT to join our team, in the lovely small town of Stirling (just north of Belleville). We are looking for a full-time RVT but would consider part-time as well.  Our clinic is a one veterinarian practice. We strive to provide excellent patient care to our dog and cat patients and excellent customer service to their owners. Your responsibilities would include anesthesia, radiography (including dental X rays), dentistry. You would be required to get histories, and do some client education, as well as exceptional nursing care. We do some lab work in clinic, but most is done by Idexx. At CTVRC/EC we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care for our patients, clients, and referring veterinarians. We are a small animal country practice located north of Belleville Ontario that has been providing service to our community for over 45 years.  Our well established and growing small animal practice is seeking a caring, compassionate and competent Registered Veterinary Technician.  Full-time or part-time position available, new graduates welcome.  Applicants should have good communication skills, work well with a team, have the ability to provide exceptional patient care and client education.  We are a progressive hospital where there are lots of learning opportunities with great support.   You will be working with a team of 2 RVT's, 6 clinic support staff and 4 Veterinarians.  We have a wonderful team that uses their various strengths to compliment each other creating an efficient and warm work environment.   We have in-house laboratory diagnostics and digital radiographs.  Anesthesia monitoring equipment includes, Cardell Anesthesia monitor, blood pressure, sPO2 apnea alert.   Duties will rotate through exam room RVT, treatment and surgery as well as occasional client service duties. Our new RVT will participate in surgery, hospital cases and appointments. Having lots of patient and client contact. Provide owners with education on prevention, wellness, illness and recovery.  Be confident in medications, anesthesia, restraint, and lab collection duties.  We would like someone who can help create protocols to continually improve our medicine and efficiency. We are willing and able to provide in house mentorship and support. There are weekly meetings and in house C.E on various topics.
