Veterinary Technician: The Company: Renforth Veterinary Clinic ( is a well established small animal practice (dogs and cats exclusively) in west Etobicoke. We have a reputation as an affordable clinic that offers excellent care for our patients and their owners, and we have recently relocated to a beautiful new facility. The Role and the Requirements: We need to hire a new technician, capable of taking on the role of lead tech as required. We are looking for an experienced technician (minimum 2 years experience in a busy practice) with excellent technical skills (surgery/anaesthesia, nursing care, xrays, lab work, dentistry etc.) that they will use everyday. The successful candidate will also be articulate, energetic and comfortable working with clients for patient discharges and tech consults etc. Applicants must be graduates of a reputable Veterinary Technology Diploma Program. We are a paperless practice so familiarity with Avimark is a must and proficiency with Word, Excel and basic net work functions are big assets. Why you will want to work here: First of all, it’s a really fun place to work! The entire team, doctors, technicians, receptionist and ACA’s, work together respectfully and collaboratively (and with a sense of humour). We are a very busy practice, there’s always lots to do – no pointless make-work projects to get through the day. Full-time schedule is generally 3 ½ days per week (8:00 am to 7:00 pm) and 1-2 Saturdays per month. Remuneration for highly skilled individual who meshes well with our clinic culture will be $20/hr plus, with health and dental coverage commencing at 6 months of employment. Great pet benefits, too.
