A good candidate for this position would be a self motivated individual who enjoys client education, with experience in dentistry, confident with radiology, anesthesia machines and monitoring. Veterinary Technician required with a minimum of 3 years experience in a busy practice. The position requires excellent technical skills and the ability to act as lead technician as required. Although the successful candidate will predominantly be working in treatment and surgery it is essential they are articulate, personable and comfortable with clients for patient discharges, tech consults, etc. Familiarity with Avimark, and proficiency with Word, Excel and basic network functions are big assets. Our clinic has a fun team environment with no weekend hours but some evenings will be required. We are a progressive, small animal practice located in Uxbridge. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, proficient at multi-tasking, have a professional work attitude and a great sense of humor while being able to efficiently work in a busy clinic setting.
